2007 is the 20th anniversary of the first Callaway Twin Turbo Corvette. From 1987 through 1991 the limited-edition, factory-endorsed supercar was sold by GM dealers under dealer code RPO B2K. During those years over 500 of these Callaway Corvettes were sold.
20 years later is it time to re-look at these special edition Corvettes and wonder where they are now and how many still exist.

If you have never been to the Corvette Funfest hosted and sponsored by Mid America Motorworks, you need to make sure that you mark September 19th-21st on your calander for next year.
Corvette Funfest was founded 14 years ago by Mike Yager, the founder of Mid America Motorworks to show his appreciate for the Corvette and the Corvette entusiats. The 2007 Funfest drew over 15,000 Corvettes and over 45,000 attendees.
If you are a Corvette owner or enthusiast, do not miss next years event.

State Rep. C.B. Embry wants to enshrine the Corvette as Kentucky’s official state sports car.
Launched in 1953, the Corvette is manufactured solely in Warren County, Kentucky. It is not the only car manufactured in Kentucky, hence the naming it as the Official Sports Car, not official vehicle.
Embry does not yet have a co-spoonsor of the bill, but expects broad support once the legislature returns in January.

Autocar.co.uk has an article about the 2008 Corvette Blue Devil. The article says it will go on sale in late 2008 for around £85,000, about 173,705 USD.
The 6.2-litre V8 engine said to be powering it will produce around 650bhp and propel the car to 60mph in only 3.5 seconds and then on well past 200mph.

On the shores of Lake Sebago, NY GM brought together virtually all that is new, including the 2008 Corvette for the New Year for a group of journalists to drive and look over.
There is nothing here that is really new, but thought I would point it out as well as the writer, Ron Amadon, says some nice things about the new car.
